Dear Friend,

As we end the year, we can’t help but be grateful for you and your support. This was a year of creativity! We sought out creative solutions to the increasing attacks against working people and their communities.

This year, we continued our unwavering support for tipped workers. We released Checked Out, our second report about the ways DC fails tipped workers. (Check out our first report Still in the Dark) The restaurant lobby was not happy with workers winning and proceeded to attack them by advocating for legislation that would delay the timeline won by initiative 82. As always, we are fighting back with the Fair Price Fair Wage Coalition!

At DC Jobs with Justice, we are committed to standing with and for workers, and are proud to serve as the coordinator and anchor organization for the Fair Price Fair Wage Coalition. The restaurant lobby will not stop, and neither will we.
