As another year comes to a close, I wanted to once again express what a privilege it is to serve as your representative in Congress. New York’s 2nd Congressional District is my home and I will always fight to ensure Long Islander's voices are heard in Washington and to deliver on New York priorities. I am proud of what we accomplished together this year, from having over $33 Million in funding for local NY-02 projects included in this year's House Appropriations bills to safeguarding health care for 9/11 first responders and survivors by securing $676 million for the World Trade Center Health Program. My team helped thousands of constituents resolve issues with various federal agencies, including by returning $6.7 million in taxes, benefits, grants, and other federal programs owed to residents of NY-02. There is still much more work to do which is why I will continue to fight to secure the border, provide SALT relief, strengthen our economy, and bolster our national security.
