John, fourteen states and counting have outright banned abortion.

In states where abortion remains legal, patients and staff at clinics are facing increasing levels of harassment, threats, and attacks every day. It’s why our National Clinic Access Project (which assists targeted independent abortion clinics) and our work on college campuses are so important.

• Ohioans voted to protect abortion in the state constitution.

Protecting abortion remains a pivotal part of our mission. Protecting abortion (and the independent clinics that provide this critical care) will take the same kind of activism. Other priorities in 2024 include ensuring the ERA is finally added to the U.S. Constitution (remember, a required 38 states have already ratified it). And we are committed to standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Afghan women fighting for their rights and ending Gender Apartheid.
