Hi friend,

We don’t normally follow up our own emails, but the one we sent a few days ago is an important one. If you haven’t had the time to read it, no worries – we get it! But we did want to make sure you saw it.

Together, nearly five years ago (!), we made a commitment to not just win one election but to win an era. We knew that lasting change didn’t just start and end in 2020. That commitment is just as important today as it was then.

It’s up to us to share the positive stories of the work the Biden-Harris administration has done – with our friends, our family, our neighbors, on social media, everywhere and with everyone.

Our goal is the same as it was five years ago: defeat those who are trying to stop our nation’s progress, and win the era for our values.

If you can, please consider donating any amount you can afford today and be a part of our urgent mission. [[link removed]]

We’re proud to do this work with you.

Team Win the Era

--------------- FWD-------------

Friend,

As we wrap up the year, we wanted to send a message about what we at Win the Era will be focusing on for the next eleven months.

It’s hard to believe that President Biden and Vice President Harris have been leading our country now for nearly three years. It’s harder still to remember what our country was facing the day they took their oath of office: an economy in crisis, a global pandemic that threatened our health and safety daily, and a president who preferred stoking the flames of division over governing.

Now, over 1,000 days later, we’ve seen the progress that President Biden and Vice President Harris have made. We’ve heard the big numbers: over 270 million people were vaccinated against COVID, nearly 11 million new jobs created, a historic investment in our nation’s infrastructure.

But those numbers alone don’t tell the real story of the significant progress the Biden-Harris administration has made for our communities. We haven’t just seen the progress – we’ve felt it.

Maybe you remember finally being able to breathe deeply after your youngest child got their second COVID shot.

Maybe you remember the excitement on your brother-in-law’s face when he told you he was going back to work, thanks to the 750,000 new manufacturing jobs created by this administration.

Maybe the bridge by your house – the one that’s been falling apart for decades, that no one seems to have cared about enough to fix – is finally being repaired thanks to the historic Biden-Harris infrastructure bill, and you know what that investment means for your community.

For over 1000 days, President Biden, Vice President Harris, and their entire administration have been showing up, doing the work, and getting things done, big and small, to make our lives better, our families safer, and our communities stronger.

And we have eleven months to tell that story.

You’re reading this because you believe, as we do, that winning just one election wasn’t enough – we needed to win an era. We knew our work didn’t stop the day Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were elected, or the day they were inaugurated. We knew we would need to continue to organize around our shared values, vote for candidates who represent progress, and donate when possible to causes we believe in.

Eleven months from now, we will once again face a critical election in the life of our nation. That work starts today, right now, and it involves every single one of us. We need to tell our stories – the real stories, not just the big numbers – of the achievements of this administration. That’s how we share the positive, real impact on people’s lives. It’s also how we find hope as we end this year.

You’ll be hearing more from us in the coming months about how to organize your networks, about candidates who share our vision, and about causes that need our help. And more impo rtantly, we want to hear from you. We’ll be reaching out, asking you to share your stories and let us know what issues are on your minds.

Thank you so much for the work you’ve done, and for your commitment to winning in eleven months and beyond. If you’re able, you can give to Win the Era here to support our work. [[link removed]]
