(Time left in the year
to make a pro-values
donation.)
Dear Friend,
Before the year ends, I wanted to
send you a quick note.
Tonight will bring to a close
a dozen years of you and me fighting shoulder-to-shoulder for life, family,
and religious freedom in North Carolina.
Thanks to your generosity, what
started as a small group of devoted believers raising their voices for
Christian values in our legislature—the North Carolina Values
Coalition & The Institute for Faith and Family—has
blossomed into North Carolina’s leading advocate for Christian
values. I’m not talking about
a watered-down, timid advocacy; I’m talking about a true
champion for
Christ in our legislature,
our courts, and our public square.
And we are just getting
started. Together, we’re
building a permanent, Christ-centered freedom infrastructure that does
more than make our voices heard, but ensures that we
continue to win victories for biblical values—again and
again.
You and I will soon have influence
on each stage of the political and public policy process: from
electing honorable leaders at the state and federal level, to drafting
new legislation and lobbying for passage and implementation, to
building public support for key ideas and policies, to ultimately
defending those wins in the courtroom and on the airwaves.
You
and I share a common vision—to create a culture in North Carolina
where human life is valued, marriages and families flourish, and
religious liberty thrives. You and I want to protect our children and
grandchildren from the radicalism of the Left, proclaim our faith in
our Lord and Savior, and defend the founding principles that make our
state and nation the envy of the world.
But we have to fight for it,
every step of the way.
We set a goal for the remaining
days of the year to raise $140,000 to:
-
Enhance our legal strategy and
begin recruiting a full-time litigator to keep constant pressure on
state agencies and local bureaucrats to correctly implement new
legislation when you and I successfully pass it;
-
Expand our “Mama Bear” parent
training programs to maximize the impact in schools of the newly
passed Parents Bill of Rights; and
-
Grow distribution of our vastly
popular, and much-needed voter guide, that assists voters across the
state in voting according to the Christian values we all hold
dear.
We’re still $25,000 short of this goal, which is why I hope
you will consider making your most generous donation to NC Values and
the Institute for Faith and
Family right now.
This year, you and I made major
gains in the fight against anti-Christian ideas, and together we did
the heavy lifting to:
-
Save thousands of babies from
abortion by outlawing abortions after 12 weeks of
pregnancy,
-
Expand parental choice in
education by passing universal opportunity
scholarships,
-
Protect young children from the
predations of unscrupulous doctors and their “gender-affirming”
experiments.
-
Limit access to online
pornography by requiring age verification
-
Preserve fairness in women’s
sports by prohibiting boys and men from competing against
girls,
-
Enhance protection of children
in schools through the Parent’s Bill of rights, which requires schools
to notify parents if a child seeks to change his or her name or
pronouns and prohibits teaching gender identity, sexual
activity, or sexuality in
K-4thgrades.
These are just a few of the
successes of 2023, but none of them would have been
possible without God’s abundant grace, and your
generosity.
As we turn to the final moments of
the year, think about what
is coming next year. The
Left is “on the march” and preparing for their biggest offensive
yet.
Speaking of offensive—the radicals
have already signaled that they intend to keep up the public pressure
to normalize their toxic agenda. Just a couple weeks ago, the filthy
group known as the “sisters of perpetual indulgence” (a satanic, cross
dressing band of fake nuns) had their very own float in a local
Christmas parade.
The battle will continue, so you and I must be ready to
hold our ground and even more forcefully proclaim Christ in the New
Year.
Before midnight tonight, please
take a moment to make a gift to NC
Values or a tax deductible gift to our sister
organization, the Institute
for Faith and
Family.
You can strengthen our response to
the woke Left and enhance our capabilities to advance our
cause right
now with your gift, and I
hope you will renew or extend your support to help us meet our
year-end goal of $140,000.
Here’s a secure link to make
your gift before midnight tonight.
Thank you for your support, your
friendship, and most importantly, your prayers. May God bless you and
your loved ones in 2024!
Sincerely,
Tami Fitzgerald Executive
Director, NC Values Coalition Institute for Faith and
Family
