Join KCYD for a Holiday Party!

Hello King County Young Democrats,

This is a reminder of our upcoming event!

We have an exciting event coming up and would love to see you all there! We will be hosting a holiday party on January 6th, 2024 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. At this event, we will have a social hour with light food and beverages. Following the social hour, we will be discussing a motion to move from a county-wide organizational model to a regional model. Attached is the motion ([link removed]) [link removed] a non-binding addendum ([link removed]) for how the motion could work. We will also be talking about an exciting opportunity with the state party to get more young people involved in state-wide initiatives. KCYD’s bylaws allow the chair to waive
dues for members, as such our chair is choosing to waive the dues for next year for folks who paid in November or December. This is to allow new members to have a full year of KCYD involvement as our membership cycle is based on the calendar year! The event will take place at Emerson Seattle, 125 Boren Ave S, Seattle WA 98144 in the club room. Details for arrival will be sent out closer to the event date. We are looking forward to celebrating the year and ringing in a new one with you all! 2024 is going to be a big election year and we need each one of you to accomplish our goals.
