Dear John,

This morning at 8am, Team Lorena showed up at the doors of the Secretary of State to turn in our 13,824 signatures collected by 192 volunteers all across Colorado. We accomplished something no statewide field campaign has ever attempted.

When we announced that we would gain ballot access for Colorado's primary via petition, people said it would take hundreds of thousands of dollars. We successfully collected these signatures by spending a fraction of that.

The odds were stacked against us:

We were attempting something that has never been done before

Our campaign manager become a new dad (a little bit early)

Volunteers got sick, went through break ups, broke bones, lost family members and jobs

and then Coronavirus hit Colorado in our final two weeks.

Despite all of these obstacles (even small cute ones like baby Cody) we prevailed. Donate to help make sure the sacrifices Team Lorena made during this time do not go to waste.

John Hickelooper spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to collect 14,000 signatures. Andrew Romanoff relied on his support from the established usual caucus goers.

We collected nearly as much as John, and we met over 2 times as many supporters than Andrew in their own communities, where they are at. Team Lorena is a coalition of working class people, from all different backgrounds willing to put in the work necessary to change how this country is run so it works for all of us.

And our achievement here shows that we have the movement needed to win against Cory Gardner.
