Dear John,

So you may be thinking, “Why is Chris bugging me about a Congressional race (Jessica Morse for CA CD3) in a remote part of California? I am already doing so much!”

I am bugging you again because I am absolutely convinced future generations deserve to see this in all its unspoiled splendor, and there’s only one candidate with the track record and the stated intent to preserve it.

I am asking you to support Jessica Morse today before her important fundraising deadline because even though there is too much to do, too many candidates to support, too many wrongs to right, and too many children not getting their needs met, protecting the Sierra Nevada is one thing that gives me hope and a deep sense of purpose. I’ve heard the emotion in Jessica’s voice when she talks about her experience hiking through its peaks and valleys, and I know she’s serious about fighting to protect it as a natural resource. If those of us who find a cause that really lights us up share that cause with our like-minded friends, then change becomes not just possible, but actualized.

Here’s why I am volunteering for Jessica Morse for Congress in California CD3 and will be doing everything I can to organize support for her across our vast district:
* She’s a wonderful person! (Wouldn’t you love to replace corporate lawyer turned career politician Kevin Kiley with life-long public servant Jessica Morse?)
* She’s intelligent and soulful
* She is a passionate steward of the Sierra and an expert on wildfire
* She will protect our personal freedoms
* She can win!

You have my personal pledge that your money will be spent wisely and efficiently, and that it will allow Jessica to get her positive message out the door, all while being amplified by a large and committed community of volunteers in every county in her district.
