Friend,
I come from a home that struggled with addiction and abuse, and like many Alaskan children, going to school was my lifeline. I am grateful for the teachers who made my brothers and me feel safe and ready to reach our potential, challenging us and motivating us to become our best selves.
That’s why it means so much to me to have the support of the past three Alaskan Teachers of the Year.

I am proud to say my children are graduates of Alaska’s public schools, and it’s very important to me that all our children have access to free, quality public education. I’ve organized thousands of community members to save over $100 million in cuts to our schools, and I’m ready to keep fighting for our kids in Washington.
I won’t stand by and watch our children and their education suffer due to partisanship and a lack of leadership.
I hope you’ll make an investment in our shared future by pitching into my campaign. It will be an honor to serve you and all of Alaska’s children.

Gratefully,
Alyse
