John, with the new year just over the horizon, we wanted to take a moment to recap some of the worst moments Arizona Republicans gave us this past year.

• In January, the far-right Arizona Freedom Caucus walked out during Katie’s State of the State Address the moment she spoke about protecting reproductive freedom.


• In February, Katie vetoed the GOP’s do-nothing state budget proposal that made zero new investments for our state.


• All summer long, we watched Kari Lake pander to the MAGA base as Senate rumors swirled, and Arizona Republicans introduced numerous dangerous bills aimed at restricting voting, attacking abortion access, and banning books.


• This fall, Republicans worked to reinstate a Civil War-era abortion ban in Arizona, and also, of course, Kari Lake launched her campaign for Senate.

As you can see, there is no shortage of extremism running through the Arizona Republican Party. In fact, Republicans have only doubled down on their extremism since Katie was elected.
