John,
Amid climate chaos and increasingly bleak headlines, activists like you and I choose hope.
We choose to demand change and keep striving for a better world — one where fossil fuels no longer have a stranglehold on our economy and politics, our planet, or our communities. A world in which our leaders side with the people they represent, not polluters.
This year, we faced a record-breaking summer of climate chaos — megafloods, droughts, heatwaves, and wildfires pummeled communities nationwide. In response, we helped organize the biggest climate action of the year.
In September, more than 75,000 people joined us in the streets of New York City for the March to End Fossil Fuels. Food & Water Watch planned the event with allies, bringing thousands to the march. Our volunteers spread the word through dozens of outreach events and over 300,000 phone calls.
From holding leaders accountable to their promises to exposing the corporate villains behind our most urgent crises, Food & Water Watch is fighting for the change we need for a livable future.
Food & Water Watch and its affiliated organization, Food & Water Action, are advocacy groups with a common mission to protect our food, water and climate.
