As Tammy's Finance Director, I spend a lot of time working with numbers — from setting our fundraising goals to making sure we’re sticking to our budget. In a high-stakes, competitive Senate race like Tammy’s, every number matters.

Like 1% — that’s the margin by which Republican Senator Ron Johnson won Wisconsin’s other Senate seat last year. Or $20 million — that’s how much GOP megamillionaire Eric Hovde has vowed to spend from his own personal fortune to defeat Tammy.

Since we’re closing in on our December 31st public fundraising deadline, I did the math to see what needs to happen in order to reach our goal and start 2024 on the strongest note possible.

We’ve got about $20,000 left to raise to hit our grassroots fundraising goal, and this month, our average online donation is $22. So that means we’ll need just over 900 donors to pitch in before tomorrow at midnight. I know it sounds like a tall order, but I’ve seen what this team is capable of — and together, I know this goal is within reach.
