I’ve said it before; we must keep my voice in Congress as the only Black woman representing the state of New York in Congress and as an advocate for our immigrant and BIPOC communities everywhere. Especially as the GOP elects extremists like Mike Johnson to leadership positions, we need to stand firm behind those of us brave enough to call out bigotry, white supremacy, and anti-worker sentiment when we see it.
You know I have and will always be your advocate in Congress. Now, it’s time we once again get ready for an election year where we can’t take anything for granted – not with Republicans leaning so far to their right and embracing extremism.
