Hi John,

Thank you so much for joining my campaign for Mayor of Kansas City.

I was born and raised in Kansas City. As the son of a single mother, I've struggled in this community, but I've also persevered here. I love this city -- and it's at the core of who I am. That's why I'm running for Mayor.

As a community leader, law school professor, and councilman representing KC's Third District at-Large, I decided to step up and run for Mayor so I could DO something, not just BE something.

My campaign is about the future of Kansas City, my fellow citizens, and the incredible work we can get done at the local level.
