Now, I am sure you didn't wake up this morning, spring out of bed and shout "Today is the day I am going to contribute to the Democratic Governors Association."

But that is what I am going to ask you to do today — to contribute to the DGA.

Otherwise, let me explain:

The DGA is the only organization dedicated to electing Democratic governors. But not only that, they are one of the ways governors and their staffs share policy ideas and successes with each other.

So when you see our work to change our gun laws when the federal courts inhibit our progress, when you see us protect women from far-right Republicans trying to strip away abortion access — the DGA has a big role to play there.

But also, when you look at the 2024 map and the gubernatorial elections — including ones Democrats need to protect like North Carolina and ones we can flip as well — the DGA is the group that helps get it done.

And because so many decisions like our gun laws, protecting abortion access, expanding Medicaid and more happen at the state level, these races impact the lives of millions and millions of people.

And they need our help.

So I am asking, humbly:

Can you please make the day you chip-in to support the Democratic Governors Association? $3 or whatever you can afford will make a big difference before their year-end fundraising deadline comes to a close.
