With his long track record of standing as a champion with the AAPI community, the Vice President will be a reassuring, experienced guiding voice in these troubled times. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Biden published his own plan of action ([link removed]) that included a strong pushback against the acts of xenophobia our community has faced, and a repeal of the Trump administration’s damaging public charge rule. He recently published his AAPI agenda ([link removed]) , excerpted below, which includes a directive for his Justice Department to prioritize and prosecute hate crimes, preserve family reunification, and invest in entrepreneurs of color.

* Arizona's AAPI electorate: 4.6%
+ 2016 margin of victory in the Arizona presidential election: 1.5%
* Ohio's AAPI electorate: 2.8%
+ 2016 margin of victory in the Ohio presidential election: 1.2%
