I’m sorry to bug you on a weekend, but this is important.

Our final FEC public fundraising deadline of the year is tomorrow night, but we’re still short of where we need to be to hit our fundraising goal.

Once the clock strikes midnight and we ring in the New Year, we’ll also close the books on our fundraising for 2023. Shortly after, we’ll submit our fundraising report to the FEC and our numbers will be made public for everyone from Republican megadonors to potential opponents to see.

As right-wing Republicans like Eric Hovde, Scott Mayer, and David Clarke gear up to enter this race, they’ll be scouring our numbers looking for any signs of vulnerability.

We need to prove we have the grassroots power to keep up with the tens of millions of dollars Republicans are ready to spend to propel any one of my right-wing opponents and flip this seat.
