I want to share 3 facts with you before we kick off 2024.
First, the Michigan Republican Party is in shambles after they handed party leadership over to MAGA extremists. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the party more divided.
Second, Michigan Democrats proved what real leadership looks like in 2023 after a landmark legislative session where they delivered on campaign promises to move Michigan forward and now, Michiganders are seeing the benefits.
Third, Michigan voters have more options to exercise their right to vote after Michigan Democrats passed landmark legislation to protect voting rights and expand access to the ballot to increase voter turnout.
The only thing standing in the way of a blue wave in 2024 is our own complacency. Our grassroots voter turnout program (which led Democrats to victory in 2022) hinges on us having the resources to invest in local campaigns to reach voters and get them to the polls.
Our 2023 fundraising report will show clearly if we have what it takes to win in 2024 and our FEC deadline is tomorrow at midnight.
