Friend, did you see what Politico just said? They called my battleground Senate race in Ohio "mission impossible."
Look – I know they're flat-out wrong. I've won tough races before, and I don't intend to stop now.
While polls are showing this race in a dead heat, I know I can win reelection – but only if I have the resources to get our message to voters all across this state.
That's why it's so important that I reach my $250,000 goal before the official FEC deadline tomorrow – the last one of the year. I know it's an ambitious target, but that's what it's going to take to keep pace with my self-funding millionaire GOP opponents.
So please: Will you rush $5 now to show the political establishment that we can – and we will – win this race in Ohio and defend our Democratic Senate majority?

While my extremist opponents are focused on following orders from their party bosses, I've spent every day in the Senate fighting for the Dignity of Work. I'm committed to continuing this fight day in and day out.
