Hi there!
We hope this email finds you enjoying the cooler temps and embracing the holiday cheer. Before the holiday shopping gets too crazy and as we near the end of our year, we wanted to send you a note and thank you for being a part of the millions-strong Special Olympics family. Without you and your help, Special Olympics can’t do what we do best, celebrate people with intellectual disabilities (ID) and allow them to succeed in so many areas.
In our roles as Special Olympics Global Ambassadors, we are lucky to have a front-row seat to the amazing compassion, dedication, and spirit of athletes with and without ID. We are so blessed to be able to watch the efforts of athletes’ incredible families, hard-working coaches and volunteers, and generous supporters of every kind – it is because of ALL of them that Special Olympics is the best organization for our friends with intellectual disabilities. Every member of this unique community makes Special Olympics the global force for inclusion and love we all know – and that so many athletes count on every single day.
That’s why we hope you’ll take advantage of this 3X match offer to TRIPLE your tax-deductible donation to Special Olympics! If you’re able, give now to help transform three times the lives through the power of sports.

A quick recap of this year. If you saw our email last year you know that Chris filmed the 3rd installment of his Guardians of the Galaxy (GOTG) franchise and was blessed to have Special Olympics Georgia athlete Nick L. work alongside him on set. Nick helped in so many ways on set and was such a great force of positivity and hardworking energy. We all loved his big smile and the joy he brought to set each day. Nick and Chris were able to reconnect earlier this year on the red carpet for the premiere of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. We are SO proud of Nick and want to congratulate him as the first-ever Special Olympics athlete to work as a production assistant on a Disney and Marvel movie!
TRIPLE MY GIFT >> [link removed]
Guardians was just the beginning for Nick, who has since worked on TWO more Hollywood movie sets as a production assistant! It was the Special Olympics Unified Leadership training program – which demonstrates to employers and leaders that workplaces inclusive of people with ID are stronger, kinder, and happier – that gave Nick this new chance to show the world everything that he’s made of.
And it was Special Olympics itself, that helped Nick develop the self-esteem, focus, and lifelong skills and social connections to make his dreams come true! An exceptional eight-sport athlete, Nick says, “I learned discipline and teambuilding through Special Olympics and it’s helped me to achieve a lot of goals. I never thought I would be available to work at a place like Marvel Studios.”
There are still SO many athletes out there waiting for their shot. Can we count on you to support them now with a year-end gift? Until midnight tomorrow, the Founding Partner of Special Olympics, The Coca-Cola Company, will 3X match your gift up to $100,000. So don’t wait to make 3X the impact >>

We are so grateful you took the time to read this email and to connect with us at this busy time of year. We hope you feel inspired by stories like Nick’s and feel encouraged by all the amazing work everyone at Special Olympics does to make this world a more inclusive one for those with ID.
We are so thankful for any support you can give to Special Olympics. We wish you a happy holiday season and cheers to a great new year!
