Hi John – it’s Madeleine Dean, Mary Gay’s colleague in the House and neighbor next door here in PA-04.

I know Mary Gay has been stressing the importance of the pressure on the Philly suburbs in 2024 – between our districts in Delco, Montco, South Philly and Berks County, there are hundreds of thousands of Democratic voters to turn out, and we are fighting to fend off Republican attacks.

If we want Democrats to keep our seats and gain a few more here in PA, Mary Gay and I need to work together with Democratic members doing our part to protect these critical districts.

There is not much Mary Gay and I disagree on – we’re Phillies Phanatics and Eagles fans, we share a love for our fellow Keystone Stater Taylor (you know the one), and neither of us will turn down a cheesesteak. So it’s not surprising we agree on this: American families need and deserve leaders who do the job we were sent to Washington to do.

Instead of working toward solutions that would lower costs, create jobs, and invest in next-generation infrastructure – as Democrats did in the last Congress – Mike Johnson and the GOP have wasted opportunity after opportunity to make progress. We can’t let them do it again.

Mary Gay and I are ready to start the new year in the strongest possible position. I hope you’ll consider splitting a donation between our campaigns before tomorrow’s end-of-year deadline.
