Antigovernment groups are part of the antidemocratic hard right movement trending in the United States. friend, Although antigovernment extremist groups have declined in number over the last decade, the spread of disinformation and harmful propaganda stemming from their ideology has not, particularly during the COVID-19 era. The team of analysts and investigators in the SPLC’s Intelligence Project works to expose these groups to the public, the media and policymakers and to counter a far-right agenda that poses a serious threat to our rights and the future of our democracy.
