I wish I could say that most of our challenges are in the "real
view mirror" now. But the struggle is still very real here. We
are still in recovery mode, dealing with the catastrophic impact of
September's earthquake, which measured a shattering 6.8
magnitude on the Richter scale.

On top of that, rampant inflation and supply chain issues are making
it difficult to accomplish our mission to save every animal who needs
us.

Even with these difficulties, we treated thousands of animals this
year. These animals make life possible for people here as they work
the fields or carry goods such as huge sacks of grain filled to
bursting, propane tanks, bolts of fabric, construction materials, and
anything else you can imagine through the dusty, narrow streets of
Fez, Morocco.
