Justice Democrats

John -

At the end of this email, I'm going to ask you to split a contribution — of $3 or anything you can — between Justice Democrats and my re-election campaign. Before I do, I hope you'll give me a minute of your time to explain why your support is so important.

Here's the deal, John:

December is an important month for political campaigns across the country, but that's especially true for ones like ours, who are powered by lots and lots of small-dollar, grassroots contributions, chipped in by people giving what they can.

That's because at the end of the month, we're facing an official FEC fundraising deadline — the final one before 2024, when this race will truly begin to heat up.

We've written to you about these deadlines before, but I mean it when I say this is a big one. In the days after this deadline passes, our team is legally required to publicly report our fundraising numbers for the year.

That means how much we've raised, but more importantly, how many individual contributions we've received. Good or bad, no matter what, for all to see.

I can guarantee you that everyone — from AIPAC and the right-wing super PACs to our primary challengers and the media — will be among the very first looking through the receipts.

They're going to use these public reports to see if our movement is showing any signs of weakness, or if we have the grassroots strength to take them on and fight back as we've always done.

The only way we're funding this campaign is together, and we need to report the strongest numbers we possibly can to show there is nothing that will slow us down.

That's why your support, John — along with the support of countless progressives standing in solidarity all across the country — is so important. Especially today.

So please:

Can you split a contribution — of $3 or any amount you can — to stand with Justice Democrats and me today? Each and every contribution, no matter the size, means so much ahead of tomorrow's FEC deadline.

Contribute $3

When I think of the many, many reasons I'm so proud of our movement, one of them is the way we fund our campaigns. I hope you're proud of that too, John.

Thanks for chipping in, and for everything you do.

In solidarity,

Ilhan
