1) Call your legislators: Check in, thank State Reps for being in the House for 19+ hours during the health crisis (?!), and prepare Senators for the fantastic bills they have ahead of them. Let your voice be heard- what is important to you right now?
2) Write an LTE: Of course, we'd love to sustain momentum on the priority bills we've been working around (stricter emissions standards, student loan protection, child-friendly legislature, ending campus sexual assault, etc.) -- but by all means, please write about the health crisis and how you are responding. We cannot ignore what's going on, and you can be vocal about how you're dealing with it.
3) Call your local NHYD members and supporters: We can maintain relationships and be friendly peers to one another. Relational organizing has power- share your stories, your concerns, and your thoughts on our current world during the health crisis as well as in NH politics.
4) Attend a statewide NHYD call: We're prepping to connect our members to strengthen our statewide community now more than ever. We'll be diving deeper into the action steps and resiliency organizing we can do during this time, and we would love to hear your ideas and thoughts. Let us know if you'd be interested in joining, and we'll send out an invite later in the coming days.
5) Check in on friends and family: The health and well-being of our closest people is #1. Do what you are able to do to make sure you are being a leader in checking in on your networks and lend a listening ear.
