You may know me as your Senator here in Virginia’s Commonwealth. You may also know me from my career playing in the NFL. But the truth is, there’s more to my story.
I wasn’t always a member of the Virginia Senate, nor was I always an NFL player. Before all of that, I was just Aaron from Seatack. My mom raised us on her own. Through mowing lawns, washing buses, and always looking forward, I was able to get where I am today. Aaron Rouse was born and raised in Hampton Roads. After playing in the NFL, Aaron came back home to Virginia Beach to give back to the community that gave him everything. Aaron runs a nonprofit and serves in the Virginia Senate, representing the 22nd District in Virginia Beach.
