My name is Rob Weidner, and I’m so proud to call Jen Schultz my wife, my best friend, and the mother of our boys. And, coincidentally, she’s also my favorite congressional candidate!

I have seen firsthand how hard Jen has been working on this campaign. I’ve also watched her over the years pour her heart and soul into her teaching career, her role as state legislator, and everything else she’s ever done. Jen is one of the hardest working people I know, and she won’t let up until we flip this seat.

But as you know, her campaign is facing the final FEC fundraising deadline of the year. Jen has told me she’s trying to raise $25,000 by December 31st, so I figured the least I could do for my wife was reach out to her top supporters and kindly ask for their support again. I remember the day that Jen first decided to run for Congress so proudly. It was becoming clear that viable candidates to face off against Pete Stauber weren’t going to run – and instead of sitting on the sidelines, Jen took it as her responsibility to run and show voters that they had a better choice.

This type of go-getter attitude is what I admire most about Jen. She will always be willing to roll up her sleeves and do the hard work necessary to make life better for our family – and for others.

I know she’ll bring that same attitude to Congress, but we need to make sure her campaign has the resources to communicate with voters if she’s going to have a shot at winning next year.
