Although there will be challenges ahead of us, together, as Canadians, we will face them head-on, supporting one another and continuing to thrive head on in the year 2024
Friend,
It was 30 years ago when our Liberal team won a strong majority and I became Prime Minister.
After 10 years of a Conservative government, we knew the task ahead of us wouldn’t be easy. We needed to take immediate action to support Canadian families, lower prices, increase wages, grow our economy, and create new well-paying jobs for everyone. It was hard work – but I’m proud of the work that our Liberal team was able to achieve during that time.
Three decades later, I got to join so many of you at our 2023 Liberal National Convention to reflect on the positive impact that our party has made for Canadians since its founding and celebrate the progress that Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team has made this year alone. From delivering the Grocery Rebate and the Canadian Dental Benefit, to building more homes through Canada’s Housing Action Plan and continuing to take strong climate action while growing our economy – we’ve been doing what we Liberals always do:
invest in Canadians to build a better future.
And although there will be challenges ahead of us, friend, together, as Canadians, we will face them head-on, supporting one another and continuing to thrive head on in the year 2024. Because despite what others may say, Canada is not broken – we are truly the envy of the world.
Every step of the way your steadfast support makes this progress possible. Your role is vital in advancing our party to keep Canada moving forward, and your commitment makes a crucial difference in what our team can achieve.
Thank you, friend.
Can we count on you?
With less than 48 hours until the new year and an ambitious $2 million end-of-year online fundraising goal to reach before midnight on December 31st, I hope you will join the thousands of Canadians who have already supported the work we do.
If you’re able, chip in to ensure that Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team can continue our work to keep Canada moving forward.
