This year, we launched several projects to increase appreciation for the American Dream and the values that make our country great. Below are some examples of our scholars’ impact over the past year:



- AEI scholars published more than 2,100 articles and op-eds, lending their voices to the policy debates shaping our country and world. AEI scholars appeared on television and the radio on 526 occasions and reached millions of people on social media platforms.


- AEI released the Morality of Markets <[link removed]> compilation to remind Americans that our free-market system enriches our social and cultural life.


- In celebration of our nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026, AEI scholars launched “We Hold These Truths: America at 250,” a four-year project that aims to rekindle appreciation of our American heritage.


- With emboldened adversaries attacking democracies around the world, AEI Foreign and Defense Policy scholars are highlighting the dangers of the Coalition Against Democracy <[link removed]>—and offering policymakers tangible ideas to renew American strength.
