Hi there,
When Rylee was 12 years old, she was in a terrible accident that led to life-altering injuries, including a severe traumatic brain injury. Her road to recovery was daunting. Rylee literally had to re-learn many fundamental skills for a second time in her life – like how to walk, talk, read, write, and eat.
Not only did Rylee hit these “first” milestones with a remarkable fighting spirit. Not only did Rylee join Special Olympics Unified sports and excel in softball, bocce, bowling, basketball, AND soccer. Not only did Rylee compete in bocce at a Special Olympics USA Games! She’s also become a Special Olympics Health Messenger to inspire, support, and advocate for people with intellectual disabilities (ID)!
Stories of resilience and determination like Rylee’s speak to the Special Olympics experience and purpose, and they’re the reason why our Founding Partner, The Coca-Cola Company, is 3X matching all donations to Special Olympics until midnight tomorrow! Give right now for TRIPLE the athlete impact >>>
Athletes like Rylee are counting on our Special Olympics family to help them keep fighting and keep persevering heading into 2024. So let’s help make it a YEAR OF FIRSTS for athletes with ID in your state and around the world.
There are less than two days left to TRIPLE your gift for our athletes!! Please don’t wait – every 3X matched gift has 3X the power to help more people with ID access sports and find love and acceptance:
Thank you,
Amy Wise
