Dear Friend --

At the end of last year, we set ourselves a challenge to take our call against nuclear weapons to the streets. In 2023, ICAN campaigners around the world delivered, with all kinds of actions and public demonstrations of resistance to nuclear threats. Next year, we’re building on that energy to take on a new challenge: nuclear spending.

Every year, ICAN exposes the exorbitant amounts of money pumped into nuclear weapons, and in 2024 we want to combine the launch of our research with a global week of action against nuclear spending.  Will you help us make it happen?

Yes, I’ll pitch in

Many of this year’s actions were only possible thanks to the generosity of the individuals who powered ICAN’s Rapid Action Fund with nearly $38,000. Through the fund, we were able to support our partners' actions in Albania, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Nigeria, Nepal, Switzerland, the UK and the US, which not only advanced local campaigning goals but also generated images and videos showcasing powerful opposition to nuclear weapons around the world.

So for next year’s week of action, we wanted to ask if you would be willing to make a contribution. Every donation will help us do the research, translate the findings into appealing, easily shareable, and locally relevant materials, empower our campaigners to take action, and more.

We are hoping to raise $50,000 and we already have a commitment by a generous anonymous donor to match the first $10,000 given. So will you help us reach that first milestone before the end of the year?

Yes, I’ll donate

We understand that in these times not everyone can make a donation, and there are more ways to support our work. You can RSVP for the week of action to get updates and resources  in the coming months. And if you cannot pitch in at this time, will you please share our end of year appeal using the buttons below so we reach more people?

Wishing you the best for these final days of 2023, and looking forward to another year full of action!
