Dear Friends,
Protecting our children is something that I know most of us deeply care about. That being said, we often talk about the dangers of affirming one's “gender identity” without medical professionals. This week, I am releasing the *second part* of a 2-part conversation with Dr. Lauren Schwartz, a Board-Certified Psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In addition to completing residency, Dr. Schwartz has also completed a course in psychoanalytic theory through the Oklahoma Society for Psychoanalytic Studies to continue education in one of her areas of interest, psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. During this set of discussions, we talked about gender-affirming activism in the medical profession. This discussion is *absolutely crucial* for those who wish to understand better the threat that our children are facing.

We covered the process of diagnosing and treating gender dysphoria in children, the risks of medicine-based care, the impact of activism in psychiatry, and Dr. Schwartz helped offer a critical look at the new transgenderism textbook for psychiatrists.
