John,
It’s been an honor to represent the region where I grew up, and I care a lot about who the next representative for this region will be. That’s why I announced my support for Hilary Franz in her run for Washington’s 6th Congressional District.
My upbringing on the Olympic Peninsula shaped me as a person and as a leader. It’s why my office’s core mission has been “creating more economic opportunity for more people in more places.”
This district is diverse in all senses of the word. Our team has helped folks get broadband access, secured funding for ports to keep our small businesses competitive in a global economy, fought for rural hospitals so they can continue delivering care, stood up for Shipyard workers, helped build affordable housing in Tacoma, worked to address traffic in Gorst, secured funding to protect the Puget Sound, and so much more.
I’m proud to support Hilary because I know she has the experience and passion to serve this district in all its diverse needs. In a time when catastrophic climate events are happening with more frequency and our housing crisis is keeping too many folks from economic security, our nation needs Hilary’s experience in Congress, and Washington needs her leadership.
Now, I'm reaching out to you to join this powerful team and give Hilary the support she needs to bring the same urgency she did as our groundbreaking public lands commissioner to the other Washington.
As Hilary takes on the pressing challenges that extend beyond our state's borders, can she count on your support by contributing $25 today? With her first FEC fundraising deadline on December 31, she needs your help showing her grassroots strength.
