John,
If you didn’t already know, Lauren Boebert announced on
Tuesday night that she is abandoning her current Congressional
District (CD-3) and will now be running halfway across the state in my
district (CD-4).
In her old district the
walls were closing in: her dem opponent raised close to $10,000,000 to
unseat her, polling showed her losing by a landslide, and even her
conservative base there was starting to turn on
her.
The Boebert campaign
picked CD-4 as their new district because it’s an open seat that leans
redder than her old district. On paper moving to this
district may have seemed like a good call, in practice it will be
Lauren Boebert’s final mistake as a
Congresswoman.
Even the CHAIR of the
Colorado Republican Party agrees with us:
|
|
The reason why he is concerned is because
CD-4 used to be one of the Colorado GOP’s safer districts for
republicans. However each year its demographics grow younger, more
diverse, and
more
educated, making it bluer
and bluer by the year.
Rural Coloradans do
not respect political opportunists and as an outsider with no
ties to the district, voters will see her for who she is in
an instant. On the other hand, I live and have raised my family in
this district. I am also a retired Marine Force Recon officer and have
two election cycles of name recognition in this
district.
Boebert has about $2,000,000 in the
bank right now. Before Boebert’s announcement this campaign had
$60,000 in our account (not bad for a grassroots rural campaign like
ours, but definitely not enough to take on a national figure like
Boebert).
However, in the last 24 hours since her
announcement we have received over
$75,000 in small dollar
grassroots contributions and fundraising is
SURGING. I know that we can rapidly close the gap between us and Boebert in no
time.
So
John - can I count on you to rush a contribution of $25 or whatever
you can spare to help us rapidly scale up our campaign so we can
defeat Boebert in her new district? |
|
Together we can turn CD-4 into a trap that will destroy
the Boebert campaign once and for all.
