Katie praised the expansion of Arizona State University’s MacroTechnology Works facility as another important step in enhancing Arizona’s semiconductor ecosystem. This expansion will allow first-of-its-kind training and opportunities to strengthen the state’s workforce and support industry growth.
Katie is fighting back against anti-abortion extremists who are looking to reinstate a Civil War-era abortion ban. She’s pledged her full support to enshrine the right to an abortion in our state constitution, and recently added her name to the petition to get abortion on the ballot next year.
Katie joined Sonora Governor Alfonso Durazo Montaño to discuss the recent closure of the Lukeville border crossing. The two Governors are working together to ensure they can safely re-open the Lukeville Port of Entry and bring stability to the Arizona-Mexico border.
After Katie signed an executive order to help secure our border and keep our communities safe, Arizona National Guard troops arrived in border communities. The federal government has ignored Katie’s requests for assistance at the border, so she’s taking matters into her own hands to provide our communities with support.
