I’ll cut to the chase:
[ [link removed] ]I’m asking if you can please pitch in to support my re-election
campaign so I can keep fighting for working families in the Senate. We’re
up against powerful special interests who want to see our momentum fizzle
out — and your support before the December 31 FEC fundraising deadline can
help mitigate their threats.

After our fundraising report is published, everyone we’re fighting against
will take a look at our numbers to answer some questions: “Do those
radical plans of hers actually have support? Do people really believe in
those ideas?”

As a reminder, here are some
of those “radical” plans and ideas that we’re fighting for:

* MAGA extremists shouldn't be able to stop people from voting or
overturn election results they don't like.
* Multi-millionaires and billionaires should pay a small wealth tax on
fortunes greater than $50 million so all of our kids can have a
fighting chance at success.
* Supreme Court justices should follow a basic code of ethics to start
restoring public trust in our nation’s highest court. Oh, and we
should expand the Court too to rebalance it since it’s been hijacked
by right-wing extremists.
* Quality child care should not eat up an entire paycheck.
* Big bank executives should not be able to gamble with consumers’
livelihoods.
* The filibuster must be abolished so we can pass the laws that the
majority of Americans are calling for, like protecting abortion rights
and enacting gun safety laws.

The special interests and right-wing extremists who have the most to lose
from this agenda are hoping to see it have less and less public support.
And publishing a strong FEC fundraising report — with a large amount of
small-dollar donations — helps ensure they don’t get that satisfaction.

A contribution of
$28 or any
amount you can give right now sends a message to those special interests
and out-of-touch ideologues that you’re still in this fight — and that
together, we are going to defeat them.

Any sign of weakness or decline of support could signal that the momentum
behind these plans is weakening — enabling our opponents to strike back,
or potentially encouraging them to recruit a challenger against me to try
to put our ideas to an end for good.
