Hi John, 

What a year it’s been! Becca has accomplished a lot for Vermonters in her first year in Congress, despite obstruction every step of the way by right-wing extremists. 

Becca introduced 12 pieces of legislation and co-sponsored 230 bills in 2023. Her legislative focuses included (but were not limited to): 

  • Fighting climate change
  • Supporting youth mental health resources
  • Addressing the opioid crisis and substance use disorders
  • Lowering costs for farmers 
  • Standing up for the LGBTQ+ community
  • Fighting for affordable housing

This year, Becca’s constituent services team has tackled over 1,000 cases, helping Vermonters with federal issues like taxes and passports. Becca and our team also attended over 650 community events and meetings in 2023, staying up-to-date on community members’ latest priorities and concerns, and Becca visited all 14 counties.
