2023 BY THE NUMBERS: CONSTITUENT SERVICE

My team and I hit the ground running in January, and I'm proud of what we've accomplished for constituents during our first year!

We helped hundreds of you successfully navigate the federal government, and I responded to thousands of your questions and concerns. Always feel free to get in touch – contact information for my Oregon City, Redmond, and Washington, D.C. offices is available here.

💰 Additionally, my office helped return over half a million dollars to Oregonians who were missing IRS refunds, veterans benefits, and more. Please don't hesitate to contact my office if you need help with a federal agency: chavez-deremer.house.gov/services/help-federal-agency

2023 BY THE NUMBERS: BIPARTISANSHIP

Oregonians have made it clear that they want their leaders to deliver results, not engage in partisan gridlock. In a divided Congress, taking a bipartisan approach is the only way we can successfully address many of the serious issues facing our state and nation. That’s why I’ve made working across the aisle a top priority and quickly joined the Problem Solvers Caucus at the beginning of the year.

During my first 12 months in office, I’ve proudly backed 175 pieces of bipartisan legislation. I’ve also authored my own bipartisan homelessness bill and passed a bill to help homeless veterans with broad bipartisan support. In 2024, I’ll continue to engage with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to get things done for Oregon!

2023 IN PICTURES: MEETING WITH CONSTITUENTS

📸 Meeting constituents is one of the best and most important parts of my job as your representative. It's been a busy year, and I’m looking forward to doing it all again and meeting even more of you in 2024!

2023 IN ACTION: FOCUSING ON OREGONIANS’ PRIORITIES

Whether it’s pumping the brakes on ODOT’s tolling proposal, addressing homelessness, or tackling the fentanyl crisis, I’ve worked on legislation to address the issues Oregonians frequently bring to my attention. I’m committed to paying attention to the issues that matter most:
