Dear John,

As the year draws to a close, I wanted to email you one last time and say thank you for your support in 2023.

All the support you provide the Fraser Institute – from donations, to sharing our research on social media, to simply being on this email list and reading our updates – makes a difference.

Without your support, Canadians would not be getting the real facts about the impact of government policy, and they wouldn’t be able to hold their governments accountable!

Despite the many challenges we faced, 2023 was an amazing year.

Our powerful team released 113 research studies this year. We also placed over 5,400 commentaries in newspapers across the country. That’s an average of over 15 each and every day!

We welcomed over 3 million people to our website, and reached 31 million more on social media!

John, like you, I often worry that Canada is heading in the wrong direction.

But I am optimistic that change is coming.

The Fraser Institute has been a significant contributor in educating people about our country’s challenges.

As a result, regular Canadians better understand the challenges we face and are beginning to demand change.

With an increased understanding of the impact of current government policies, Canadians will ultimately be better able to ensure that their elected representatives pursue policies that are more responsible and that will create a better and wealthier Canada for everyone.

With your help, we can continue to educate Canadians about what policies are needed to ensure a better country.

And of course, we’ll continue to push back against special interest groups peddling wildly exaggerated fears and damaging economic policies!

The Fraser Institute relies on charitable donations to fund our operations. While your support has been invaluable, I ask that you consider a year-end contribution [[link removed][campaignid]] to help us start next year strong and be even more impactful.

Thanks again for your ongoing support of our efforts. On behalf of all of us at the Fraser Institute, I wish you and your family all the best in 2024.

Sincerely,

Niels Veldhuis

President

The Fraser Institute

PS: Did you know that a donation to the Fraser Institute entitles you to a generous tax credit at tax time? But you must donate before December 31 to get yours – donate today! [[link removed][campaignid]]
