Now Accepting Oak Award Nominations!

The Natural Resources Commission is now accepting applications for the first-ever Oak Awards, a program to celebrate leadership, education/outreach and project efforts that advance natural resources within the City.

The nomination deadline is January 31, 2024.

Partners in Energy

In October 2023, the City applied for and was accepted into Xcel Energy?s?*Partners in Energy* [ [link removed] ]?program. The program provides resources and support to develop an Energy Action Plan aimed at reducing energy use, tools to help implement the plan, and resources designed to help communities stay informed.

The City is seeking residents, business owners, as well as representatives from faith organizations, non-profits, and other community groups to be a part of an Energy Action Team that will help guide the development of the City?s Energy Action Plan.
