It’s been a busy week here at Team JMS, so here’s a quick update:
- The Cook Political Report says there are just 23 toss-up districts in 2024, and Oregon’s 5th district is one of them. That means we have a huge opportunity to elect Jamie AND take back the House next year.
- The Hill put our district on the list of the 9 key races that could flip the House in 2024 — that means all eyes are on us!
- A new independent poll of Democrats in Oregon’s 5th congressional district is yet another poll showing Jamie leading her closest primary opponent by over 30 points! It confirms that Jamie is the candidate best-positioned to win this primary and flip OR-5 next year.
- This race is about our people power vs. our opponent’s MAGA extremism and corporate PAC money. In fact, out-of-state groups are already spending money here in Oregon to mislead voters about our opponent's extreme voting record in Congress.
- We’ve got a fundraising deadline — our last before the election year — coming up on Sunday night and need your help to keep strengthening our campaign ahead of what we know will be an ultra-competitive race next year.
