Pennsylvania will close out the year with two big victories for freedom.
First, the legislature passed a major $150 million increase to two tax credit scholarship programs—the largest increase in the programs’ history and a massive expansion of educational freedom across Pennsylvania.
Second, what would have been the biggest tax hike in Pennsylvania history was blocked. Hard-left Democrats tried to sneak through a 1 percent payroll tax on workers. But thanks to our efforts, which included educating lawmakers and constituents on how economically damaging it would be, the tax died.
We’re proud of these wins, yet there’s still more work to do in 2024. We know progressives aren’t going to let their radical tax hike go. They’ll try to pass it again next year. So we have to be prepared to beat them again

We also know that Gov. Josh Shapiro will have learned from the mistakes of his first year in office. He’ll want to pass a real agenda in 2024. We must ensure it’s an agenda aligned with his promises: cutting taxes for hardworking Pennsylvanians, lowering energy costs, and providing children more educational freedom with Lifeline Scholarships.
That’s why we must be ready for 2024

. Many parts of the state budget remain unfinished. About $200 million in Democratic priorities is unfunded. We know the Left is going to be pushing policies that will hurt Pennsylvania’s economy and education system.
We need to be ready to take on the progressives in Harrisburg next year. Will you support our efforts to hold Shapiro accountable in 2024?

Every dollar you give will help us carry on the momentum of this month’s huge victories into next year. We need to not only block radical tax hikes but also cut existing taxes for businesses and families. We must keep fighting to ensure every Pennsylvania student has access to a school that fits their needs. And we need to ensure Shapiro removes Pennsylvania from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) energy tax.
But we can’t do any of that without your support. Will you donate $15, $10, or $5 right now to help us make Pennsylvania a more prosperous state in 2024?
