Hi There, I'm Sam, the digital director here at Evergreen, and I'm writing to you with tremendous gratitude for what we've accomplished together this year—and one final request in 2023. We need to reach our campaign funding goal by December 31 to deliver on a truly important effort in 2024—our campaign to go after the utility companies standing in the way of a better, safer future. This year, we launched a successful online campaign where tens of thousands of Evergreen action-takers called out utility trade group EEI for using customer funds to lobby against climate action. Our public pressure campaign is working, but there's still more to do to hold utility companies and their trade groups accountable for their bad behavior. |
To get this done, every team at Evergreen will deploy our best strategies and tactics. For the digital department, that means: - Public accountability campaigns that call out bad actors and put pressure on them to change course
-
Compelling videos and storytelling products that spread the message to new corners of the movement
- Shareable content that builds grassroots support for political action
- Emails and events that keep advocates plugged into the best ways they can help make a difference
Truthfully, I feel so lucky to work at a place that is making a real difference in the climate fight, and we can only do this with the help of supporters like you who fund our work. If we're going to stand up to dirty utilities and get their bad influence out of climate policy once and for all, we need to reach our funding goal before the year is over.
Chip in $10, $20, or whatever you can to help us get there.

Thank you for everything,
Sam Holman Digital Director Evergreen Action |
