As Republicans fought amongst themselves and almost broke Congress with speakership drama, Valerie and her Democratic colleagues fought to keep the government running and prevent a catastrophic default.

Even though we averted a worst-case scenario, it was only through the hard work of Valerie and the Democratic caucus that we survived this dangerous year of GOP governance.

It just goes to show that when it comes to doing the work of governing, Republicans are not up to the task.

In 2024, we have an opportunity to retake the House and prevent another two years of GOP dysfunction.
