Oklahoma,

As we a wrap up 2023 and look toward the New Year, we reflect upon all we have accomplished in the past twelve months. It’s hard to believe my first year serving in the U.S. Senate has come to a close, but we have so much to show for it.

I’ve been blessed to continue our work from the U.S. House of Representatives on Oklahomans’ top issues here in the Senate. This includes cutting burdensome government regulations for business owners, farmers, and ranchers, unleashing domestic energy, increasing health care access in rural areas, and lowering broadband costs to name a few. I have proudly sponsored and cosponsored a total of 150 pieces of legislation this past year – two of which passed both the U.S. House and Senate with bipartisan support. You can check out the complete list of legislation here.

Working in Washington is only productive if we've heard directly from those we are representing. I was honored to have visited 28 counties across Oklahoma this past year. While community needs differ, the desire for government accountability, lower costs, protecting life, and securing our southern border remain the same. While drought conditions affected many of you, we were able to fight for crop insurance among other important provisions in the Farm Bill. I was also able to work with my Senate Armed Services Committee colleagues to secure a total of $152 million for our five military installations in the FY2024 NDAA. If you took the time to meet with me this past year, thank you sincerely for your time. It’s an honor to meet those I have the pleasure of serving, and I would not be here without your support.

Constituent services will always remain the most important aspect of my job. Thanks to our dedicated caseworkers in the state, my office was able to close 1,170 constituent cases. If you or anyone you know needs assistance with the federal government such as help with veterans’ benefits, passports, or social security matters, please do not hesitate to contact either of my state offices. Additionally, if you have plans to visit Washington, D.C. in 2024, please reach out to my Washington office to set up a tour of the U.S. Capitol. It would be an honor to have you.

Thank you for all your support. The fight continues.

Thanks for reading my weekly e-newsletter! It’s an honor to represent the great state of Oklahoma in the U.S. Senate. You can stay in touch by following me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. As always, don’t hesitate to contact my office if we can help in any way.

God Bless!
