Hello John,
2023 is winding down and we’re looking back on the year with pride. This year was full of deep investment in our people—building up their tactical skills, developing their strategy muscles, and fostering resilience for what lies ahead. 2023 re:power programs were some of our most powerful yet as we tested brand new programs built for our people, convened our trainers for our first-ever TrainerCon, and gathered our alumni for four virtual Community Conversations on a variety of topics.
Along with pride, we’re feeling immense gratitude and hope. Gratitude for all of you who have supported our work and been a part of our community. And hope which comes from watching the INCREDIBLE community building happening across the country.
As we close out the year, we’re excited to share our highlights of 2023 on our End-of-Year Impact Page [[link removed]] . Click through to see what “good trouble” re:power got up to this year. And help us continue to build on our impact by making a contribution [[link removed]] toward our collective future.

on the re:cord
From September to December, re:power facilitated a 9-week Women of Color Leadership Development Cohort for a group of 20 staff from across State Voice’s network, who hold roles ranging from Communications Associate to Organizing Director to Development Manager. The State Voices network now has more women of color staff than ever before and this program is focused on investing in their leadership and growth.
One of our wonderful participants shared:
