PPIC Water Policy Center
Help Us Improve Water Policy in California
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,

Before the year is over, please join the PPIC Water Policy Center in our efforts to improve water policy in California. Generous support from donors allows us to innovate and adapt to a rapidly changing policy environment.

The PPIC Water Policy Center provides high-quality, fact-based information on some of the most pressing water management challenges facing our state. We deliver these resources, at no cost, to California lawmakers and the public in service of improving the lives of all Californians.

We’re providing timely facts and objective information. Over the past year, our research has been essential to shedding light and inspiring action on critical challenges such as how and where water is used in California, the future of agriculture in the San Joaquin Valley, and how California can better manage its wet years in a more volatile climate.

We’re focusing on the future. Conditions are changing rapidly in California, and that is having major implications for water management throughout the state. We’re looking ahead, forecasting what issues are on the horizon, and exploring solutions.

We’re offering numerous opportunities to learn and engage. In addition to producing excellent research, PPIC hosts compelling events and briefings. Leaders at the national, state, and local levels have joined us to talk about managing water and farmland transitions in the San Joaquin Valley, the increasing effects of climate change, and priorities to improve California’s water policies.

As we head into a consequential election year, our leaders need a trusted, impartial source of information that helps them make well-informed decisions for California, its resources, and its people.

We can’t do our important work without you.
