Dear Friends, It is hard to believe it’s been 361 days since I was sworn in as County Judge on the steps of the old Tarrant County Courthouse. It is truly an honor to be your County Judge. This year has flown by and there are many 2023 victories to celebrate. Homestead Exemptions for the first time ever for Tarrant County, trimmed budgets resulting in less spending, below no new revenue property tax rates for the county and JPS, a cost-conscious culture shift in the County, eliminating liberal ideology and wokeism as we find it in our County government, and more day to day changes and improvements than I can list here. As thankful as I am for the progress made in the last year, you and I both know that our values and freedoms are constantly under attack from liberal media, politicians, and activists. We cannot rest. The left is forever looking for ways to bring us down and change our way of life. You can help me fight back.
