Someday I believe we’ll live in a kinder world.
A world where no baby calf is ripped away from his mother—destined to spend his short life alone in a tiny crate—as she cries out for him. A world where mother pigs can stretch their legs and explore, instead of gnawing on the bars of their metal cages out of sheer desperation. A world where chickens are free to joyfully scratch in the dirt, not trapped in the living nightmare that is a battery cage.
If we play our cards right, that “someday” could be just a few years away. Ending the extreme confinement of animals is achievable within our lifetime. But only if enough people—people like you—decide that enough is enough.
In 2023, this community pushed corporate titans like Kellogg’s and PepsiCo to do better for egg-laying hens. We won our case in the Supreme Court defending our nation’s strongest animal protection laws against the factory farming industry’s attacks. If there was ever a moment in history when people had a chance at overcoming powerful factory farming interests, it’s now.
So in 2024, let’s make history. Let’s end extreme confinement for good. Let’s change the world for animals.

P.S. Looking ahead to 2024, we have bold plans to harness this momentum into more progress for animals—taking on more massive corporations, driving essential legal protections for animals, and pushing for the phaseout of cruel cages across the globe. Are you with us?
