Friend, I have to ask again before the year ends: 

Can you spare $5 to invest in my campaign to defeat Ted Cruz? 

After Jan. 1, election experts, reporters, and Cruz's team are going to be poring over our numbers to see if we're on track to win in November – and I want to send a message loud and clear that we aren't stopping until Texans have the leadership we deserve. 

I know: $5 isn't much compared to the MILLIONS that Ted is getting from his corporate allies. But I'm willing to bet that if everyone who's fired up to beat him chips in $5, we can blow his extremist mega donors out of the water. 

So, please: Will you chip in $5 right now so that we can start the election year with the resources to reach voters across Texas? We need to raise $500,000 before the year ends to be in the best possible spot to win in November.
